So what is this site about?
Hard to say.
The original reason to create this site was to replace at least some of what the BlackPlague had been. An open place for people to express themselves without restrictions; talk, publish their art, stories, essays, poems in an environment that is by no means lovey-dovey and understanding everything, but that *allows* everything that you have the courage to say. (...all within the limits of the real world: no illegal stuff.)
The center of Borderline are naturally the works of the features artists, and youŽll find a great variety of different forms and contents here: stories, poems, essays, wild ramblings, drawings, paintings, collages, photo-retouches, Poser-art, and computer art. The spectrum of contents is ranging from gory snuff via love poems to avant garde philosophy and to violent feminism. Whatever stuff, as long as it's interesting in whatever way it's fine here.
Problems? The site looks odd?
This site is designed for the present and the future, not for the past.
If you are using Netscape 4x you will be able to use the site, it will work, but it won't look good: just text on gray background.
If you are using Internet Explorer 5x it will work, but some of the design may be fucked up.
If you are using Internet Explorer 4, or Netscape 3, or whatever bizarre shit: I don't know whether it works and how it looks, but: serves you right. There is plainly no reason not to use one of the decent, new browsers that you can download and use for free like Firefox, Mozilla, or Opera (yeah, Opera is for free now).
If you are using a Mac---why use the crappy, old IE 5? There are Safari or Netscape 7 for Mac. Both work perfectly with old *and* new sites.
